The ASTRA consortium organised its first transnational meeting on 4 March 2021 in order to officially kick off the project and its work. The partners under the coordination of the National University of Laos, presented themselves and their institutions, discussed and agreed on the progress ahead as well as the tasks’ allocation among them. More specifically, issues related to internal communication, Quality Assurance as well as dissemination and outreach were outlined. Also, the work that needs to be done collectively as part of the first, research phase of the project which will focus on the local, regional and national contexts of the Higher Education system in the two partner countries, Laos and Thailand. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the EU.
